How it works
Add an addon
Paste its link into Oramio, or open it from your browser. Oramio comes with no addons installed, so what’s in it is up to you.
Browse
Each addon’s catalogs become rows on your Home screen, and search looks through all of them at once.
Press Play
Oramio weighs every source against your screen, your languages and your connection, then plays the best one. The next episode stays on the same release, so the audio and subtitles stay as they were.
Made for your best screen
Oramio plays high dynamic range video and surround sound on the devices that support them, and converts the formats Apple devices can’t play on their own.
- Picture
- 4K in HDR10 and Dolby Vision, decoded in hardware. Profile 7 Dolby Vision is converted so it plays too.
- Sound
- Dolby Atmos and surround sound. DTS and TrueHD tracks are converted to Dolby Digital Plus, so they play everywhere.
- Subtitles
- Text and image subtitles, including PGS, from the file itself or from your subtitle addons.
- Around it
- Picture in Picture, controls on the Lock Screen, and Oramio remembers where you stopped.
Picks up where you left off
- iPhone
- iPad
- Apple TV
- Mac
Oramio is built natively for each: touch on iPhone and iPad, the Siri Remote on Apple TV, and windows on the Mac.
Your addons, library, settings and progress sync through iCloud, end-to-end encrypted. Start an episode on the TV and finish it on your phone. There’s no account to create.
Oramio comes empty
Oramio doesn’t host, store or distribute any content, and no addons come with it. You decide which addons to add, and you’re responsible for using them in line with their terms and the law where you live.
If you’d like somewhere to start, Oramio Catalogs is our own optional addon. It lists popular and new movies and series with their details, and never offers anything to play.
